Terms of Sale

These terms govern every order placed with Pure Amino. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Research use only

Everything sold on this website is supplied strictly for in-vitro and laboratory research. The products are not therapeutic goods, drugs, food, cosmetics or dietary supplements. They have not been evaluated or approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, and they are not for human or veterinary consumption or administration by any route.

At checkout you confirm that you are ordering on that basis, that you are 18 or older, and that the products will not be used for human or veterinary consumption. That confirmation is a condition of sale. We may refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably believe the products are intended for a use other than laboratory research.

Responsibility for handling, storage, use and disposal passes to you on delivery. You are responsible for complying with any law, permit, institutional protocol or ethics requirement that applies to your work.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to order. We supply within Australia only, and we do not ship internationally.

3. Orders and acceptance

Adding items to a cart is not an order, and an order is not a contract until we accept it. Your order is accepted when we send your order confirmation email. Until then we may decline the order for any reason — including a pricing or listing error, a stock shortfall, or a suspected breach of clause 1 — and any payment taken is refunded in full.

Prices are in Australian dollars. Pure Amino is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged on any order and the documents we issue are invoices rather than tax invoices. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies to your order is the price shown when the order is placed.

4. Pre-orders

Some sizes are offered for pre-order, which means the stock has been ordered from our supplier but has not yet arrived. Pre-ordered items are marked as such before you add them to your cart and again in the cart itself. Where an order contains both in-stock and pre-ordered items, the whole order ships together once the pre-ordered stock lands, unless you ask us to split it.

We will tell you if a pre-order is delayed beyond what we expected. You may cancel a pre-ordered item that has not yet shipped for a full refund of that item.

5. Payment

Payment is handled by our payment processor. Card details are entered directly into their own payment form and are never received, seen or stored by Pure Amino. We store only an opaque payment reference against your order.

Store credit and promotion codes may not be combined on the same order. Store credit has no cash value, is not transferable, and cannot be refunded to a payment method.

6. Your consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to clause 6, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the products in question. We are not liable for loss of research data, experimental results, laboratory time, or any indirect or consequential loss.

We are not liable for any loss arising from a use of the products other than in-vitro laboratory research.

8. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may close your account and export your data at any time from your account page.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when the order was placed. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
